京都と姉妹都市のイギリス、エジンバラとの日英芸術交流プログラムに２００５年度選ばれ、エジンバラカレッジオブアートにて２週間のサマースクールを受講する。　　ペーパコスチュームとファイバーストラクチャーの講座を選択。世界中から集まるサマースクール生のうち第４週目プログラム参加者の中からベストスチューデントに選ばれ、翌年度の募集パンフレットにも紹介された。

In 2005, Mitsuko attended the Summer School at the Edinburgh College of Art as a member of Japan-England Art Exchange Program.  At the 4th week, she took the Paper Costumes,

instructed by David Wilcox.  Mitsuko was chosen to the Best Student of the 4th week Programs at Edinburgh College of Art.  And also, the half scale size of her red paper costume was beautifully created in the class.  ECA picked it up for 2006 ECA's brouchure for the course guide.  She also took the Fiber Structures, instructed by Steohen Hunter in the 5th week.  She had a great opportunities to study abord and challenge of unique use of fibers.
