スポーツブランドのミズノが主催するファッションコンテストであり、スポーツウェアとしてのデザインを創作する。テーマはスキーウェア、タイトルは雪の陰影、ライトアンドシャドウ。

雪の陰影を出す為に、白の化繊不織布と黒のシートスポンジを接着シートで表裏一体にする。その生地を細いストライプ状に裁断し、生地の断面は光と影をイメージさせ、輪郭をはっきりと浮かび上げる。グラデーションにグレーに染め分け、立体に編み上げて形成する。黒いゴム引きの生地はミトンからカフス、ブーツはパンツの裾へと続き一体化する。フードからブーツの足元までのオールインワンのスキーウェアとなる。

1万8千人の応募者の中から山本寛斎によってこのデザイン画は選ばれた。そして最終選考会での5点の優秀な作品を各審査員が選び、安部憲章のベストセレクション賞を受賞した。

Mizuno Sports Co.,ltd. is one of leading sports wear and goods production.  So that, this competition is themed for a sport's wear.

This image shows to express the contrast between the ligh and shadow of the snow.  First, the white synthetic felt is glued together with black sheets of sponge which is then cut out into thin strips.  Finally, a bit of white felt is dipped into gray dye in order to express the contrast between the light and shadow of the snow.  Rubber-coated cloth was used for mittens and boots.   This ski wear is coordinated from the boots to the hood in all-in-one style.

This sketch was selected by a famous designer, Kansai Yamamoto out of 18,000 applicants.  And each of judges are chosen the best outfit.  At last, This ski wear was selected by a judge, Kensho Abe as the best.
