鉄のワイヤーの錆びと

ブリキのおもちゃ

黒に手染めした綿のキャンパス地の生地と黒いゴムマットをジャケットのサイドに用い、ティラード仕立てのスーツをシンプルに作った。　しかしそのジャケットには古く錆びたブリキのおもちゃ、撮影用のリール、おもちゃのピストルやカメラなどがある。古い錆びたものをモチーフとしてサイドのゴムマットに装飾する。スーツの襟やすそ、カフスの縁取りを鉄のワイヤーでステッチし、薬品でわざと腐食させ鉄錆びを出し、古いジャンクなイメージをだす。

第１５回のオンワード新人デザイナーファッション大賞は服飾メーカー大手のオンワードが世界中の有名デザイナーに審査を依頼し、海外を含め３万点の応募の中から、最終審査会には４０点が製作されランウェイを彩った。審査員としてジャンポールゴルチエやルチアーノソフラーニ、森英恵、花井幸子、小西良幸、原由美子、吉田ユキ、大内順子が担当していた。

This suit is made from black dyed canvas cloth and sheets of rubber mats.  Old rusty tin, such as toys, reels, toy guns and cameras are attached to the rubber mat to show its rust motif for this style.　　Edges of hems, collars, and cuffs are tied together and stitched with iron wires. Iron wires are made to look rusty by using chemicals which is then stitched on to hems, collars and cuffs.

The Onward is one of top fashion leading company in Japan.  This contest has invited prestigious fashion designers as its judge.  They picked up 40 designs out of 30,000 applicants from all over the world.  The judges were, Jean Paul Gaultier, Luchiano Soprani, Hanae Mori, Yukiko Hanai, and a fashion journalist, Junko Ouchi, etc.
